Our Mission

We work to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness. Habitat for Humanity of Lake County is committed to working in partnership with God and all people to build affordable homes so everyone can live, grow and experience that which God intends.

 

Habitat Facts

• Volunteers do most of the work.
• Individual and corporate donors provide money and materials.
• Partner families invest hundreds of hours of “sweat equity” labor into the building of their homes and the homes of others.

Building on Faith

Habitat for Humanity of Lake County works in partnership with families in need to build quality housing. The houses are sold at without profit and zero interest mortgages. Mortgage payments go into a revolving fund that is used to build more houses for more families.
